So i have a Robinson M96 Recon rifle. I have never shot it suppressed and want to. Any reasons why not to?

I have an M96. My brake is not compatible for suppresson. I'm pretty sure its actually part of the barrel.  I know some folks have had theirs milled and threaded. Which I've thought of doing...

...Anyway. I see no reason you couldn't suppress it if able. It has an adjustable gas block. Why not?

I think the fal style gas system doesn't lend itself to that very well. Look up suppressing fals, for more info.
