I'd love it if I could just buy the wood and change mine out. I may have to get one though.

Looks great
I made this one long before Mossberg jumped on board. I tried cutting down a wood stock but wasn't happy with the outcome. Attached File |

This is on my short list but hoping the price will drop at some point

What’s the minimum length before it’s called AOW?
I’ve been thinking of getting one of these, I have a Pachmeyer Vindicator forend and pistol grip. I’d like to use. |

I can see myself falling for one for sure. I haven't seen it in person yet though...

Attached File Raquetball tape FTW! Feels almost like a Pachmeyr grip... and completes the look of something "sawed off" on someone's workbench! |

AND.... finaly figured out the sling to use! The original "witness protection" shotguns used a USGI M1 carbine sling. You would sling it under a jacket and to deploy... you'd reach up under and pull on the end of the sling, popping loose the "lift the dot" snap.
Vietnam era nylon M2 carbine sling ordered from Ebay! |

Awesome boomstick OP.
The wood is gorgeous. Gonna have to get me one of these. |

I have absolutely no use for one of these, but I still want one. If I'm ever in a movie this would be cool to stick out the car window at about 2 feet. How hard are they to hit with, realistically? Anybody squirrel hunt with one?

Anybody squirrel hunt with one? View Quote As far as hunting, check your regulations. In my state some things some things like turkeys and birds you are only allowed to use a "shotgun", then the law defines a shotgun as having a barrel 18" or more and shoulder fired. If I were to shoot a turkey with it it'd be considered "not a legal method of take". The thing is my state classifies this as a pistol, the state police halted sales of these while they came to that determination. The state police also enforces the game laws. So if I'm hunting a deer or cougar or something (handguns are legal for hunting big game here) if I get questioned I'm confident I can say "call the state police and ask them, this is a pistol". |

If you're looking down the sights, it shoots way to high. I found a fiber optic that just snaps on to the barrel. It's a little taller and if I aim so I can just barely see it over the receiver it shoots ok. Can you hunt squirrels with it? It's just a cylinder bore shotgun, so that limits your distance quite a bit. As far as hunting, check your regulations. Do you mind showing pics of how you set it up and carry it when you get it? I am having a hard time picturing it. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Attached File Here's a quote on how to deploy... The key to this system was the design of the sling. The designers utilized an M1 Carbine sling with a quick-release snap that was mounted to the hand stop. The shotgun could be slung under a jacket in an upside-down configuration. To present the shotgun, the user would grasp the forend with his or her support hand, reach across their body and unsnap the sling. This freed the shotgun, and the support hand pulled the gun from under the jacket for a reasonably efficient presentation. |

Installed the sling... "US Marshals style". With a little practice, this works pretty well. Granted, someone could create a more modern version with a fastex kind of buckle... but this setup has a vintage feel to it. Also removed the factory front strap, as it interfered with the draw... |

I'm looking for a flower box like a dozen long stem roses would come in.
Dale's flower delivery man routine. |

Does anyone make a Semi-Auto version of these "nightstick/shockwave" type shotguns?
I've seen some pics online but haven't found anything naming a manufacturer. |

Damn I really like the Rem TAC-13 V3 but not $900+ MSRP like and not $700+ retail like.

The wood looks really nice. Not sure about the leather strap though.
