I would like to have a few “options” around the house as I don’t carry inside my house.  I have seen links to websites like:

https://tacticalwalls.com/

https://libertyhomeconcealment.com/

I really like the idea of the hat/coat rack by the front door on the liberty website.

How many people here use options like these?  Secondly, now that this seems more common have the “broad daylight thieves” caught on to it and you might as well put a sign on it saying steal me?   How well do the magnetic locks work and is it a benefit to go the RIFD option?

Other suggestions are appreciated.  As a note mostly at home alone but on occasions have company with small kids and every few months have a maid that helps with some of the bigger spring cleanings and such.

Bottom line:
Be able to keep a few guns around the house but yet have house guest unaware they exist and also have some thief resistance when I am not home.  Figured I might ask here first but GD will have more answers….not necessarily the correct ones though.

ETA…will add links to just to reference stuff for later, many of these offer very similar if not the same products but some options like type locking mechanism may ir might not be offered

I have built and retro-fitted several pieces of furniture for concealment.  As they are unique, they hopefully have a better chance of going unnoticed.  No houseguests have ever found or even suspected the pieces.

Thieves who are specifically looking for firearms will be aware of the most common commercial concealment options, and likely ID and access them, while the 6-8 minute daylight smash and grab type home invasion/theft will miss them.

Children are remarkable and will find more than you suspect, as well as having read about concealment furniture because they find it cool.

Nothing is perfect, and home invasion thieves find shit for a living, so secure storage behind thick steel should also be employed.
