These kits turn a 1022 into  a Thompson SMG lookalike. Any problem ditching the stock and using a charger receiver?I have WWII photos of Thompson's in use without the buttstock, creating a very large pistol. Looks like a fun way to waste some ammo.

True, but I plan to use the M1A1 styled kit that has a horizontal, rather than vertical, grip.
