Picked up a used stainless version recently for $450. In the parts box I have a fixed 3 power Nikon AR P-223 and a 1-4 Burrris TAC 30. I know the tube diameters are different but I have mounts for both.

Use would be general plinking, maybe a truck gun.

Which scope and why?

I would go with the lightest since it is a light and handy gun. I put a small red dot on mine for that reason. Walking around woods gun.

Fair enough, but I'm not concerned with a few ounces either way and I'm interested in a scope as specified in the OP and not an RDS.
