What is a good scope for a Fal Para, that will with stand the recoil.

I use a 2.5 power Leoupold. Used it hunting and punch paper. It’s been in use for over 20 years. I’ve got one on a H&K 91 also.

I have an Aimpoint PRO on the 16" Para, Leupold 1-4 firedot on the 18" carbine.

I like Acogs, but I need to find one of the special Acog-cut receiver covers to bring it down. Or I may cut one myself. The ACR stock definitely helps with cheek weld though.

tried a TA01NSN... didnt like it due to its short eye relief
tried a Nikon 2-8x... not worth the weight increase due to the lack of accuracy of my FAL (3-4moa) Im going to try a RDS or a 2x GLx from Primary Arms soon or later |

Do you guys have issues with your zeros changing with the para scope mounts when you dissemble them for cleaning or is it overblown internet bs?
I’m new to FALs but just picked up a DSA Para and would like to put an aimpoint or maybe a 1-4x on it. I’ve also looked the DSA and Aim something or other m lok handguards for a red dot. |
