New stamp for my 870 came . Assembled everything and looks great.

Problem is the Wilson combat +1 sling loop sticks out into the beam for my wml light.

Pics coming

Wondering if I can bump the light out with a thicker  rail section
Or dump the loop Attachment Attached File

I had the same problem on one of my SBS builds.  I ended up getting a +1 extension with the sling loop in the down position which technically solved the light problem, but I also went with this mounting bracket from Echo 93 which should also solve your problem.  First pic below shows the bracket mounted to my 590A1, but 2nd and 3rd pic show it on my 870 Marine SBS. Another reason I like using this bracket is that it gets the light up out of the way so I can get a good full grip on the handguard, but the thumbswitch is in perfect postion to activate.

Thanks . This looks like exactly what I need.
I’d rather move the light than the loop.

Thanks!

Just note that the Echo93 bracket is not actually made for mounting on the Magpul forend.  It's not MLOK.  You have to thread small bolts into the bracket from inside the forend.  It was bit challenging on the 870 forend, but certainly do-able.

10-4, but you were able to get it tight correct?
once installed it is solid?

Yes, mine is very solid.

Several companies make MLOK offset Picatinny mounts that might help you clear that sling loop (e.g., Magpul, Arisaka, IWC/Haley Strategic). I guess it will come down to the angle of the mount relative to your handguard; these seem to be designed around AR handguards.

well spent another $15 at wilson combat but I think I mis ordered.
I ordered the sling plate that faces down thinking I could swap it but
I'm pretty sure I need a whole new +1 extension.

If so I'm missing it
I pulled the split ring off thinking that was it but no go.
looks like it was machined together??

Wilson extensions have that retainer ring for the sling mount spot welded in place. So it's not really user changeable.

Questions for you.....

What are you doing with the other sling/+1 loop?

And what length barrel is your SBS?  My 870 stamp was approved FOREVER ago and I just never got around to finishing my build....to include buying barrel and mag tube....
