JTAC Industries Elf Owl | 300BLK Bolt Action Pistol

JTAC ELF OWL is another option. The Howa mini action cuts it even shorter.

@doubleshot00 Sorry for coming late to the party.  I have a Ruger American Ranch in 300blk waiting for form 1 approval.  It is in the ATFs awaiting research pile, so it will prolly be summer before I get it back.  My plan is to start with cutting the factory barrel back to 8-9”.  Like you say, with the factory stock you are pretty limited in how far you can cut it down.  Also, given my gun takes AR mags, my stock choices are limited.  Luckily, Indian Creek Designs makes a compatible chassis.  I will have to get their forend cut down, but that’s no biggie.  I am going to put a folding stock adapter on it and will use my Q Full Nelson and that should give me a whisper quiet pocket gun.

Mine's at 10.5. Shoots awesome. It will fit on the original stock after cutting off an inch or so.

I’ve always wanted to find a old stainless 3006 for cheap and chop it down super short and add the most repulsive brake and  red dot. 100% range toy thunder stick

It's an MDT LSS-XL GEN2. I had to cut it down a little. MDT told me 10.5 was the shortest I could go. But apparently they don't know how to measure a barrel. There 10.5 was from the receiver not the breach face. I have there folding hinge on it as well. Makes for a small compact package. Mine I've had a few years so probably older.

Ruger American in 223/5.56mm requires the use of this magazine http://shopruger.com/556-NATO-10-Round-Magazine/productinfo/90458/Does not work with 300 Blackout

@tbuck

nice rifle...How much more length could you have cut from the barrel if MDT had given better info?
How hard is it to remove the barrel on these from the receiver?

Simple to remove the barrel. I actually had to cut the chassis down about a 1/4 inch. By there measurement I would have cut the barrel to 11. All in all it turned out good. It's fun ass hell to shoot at steel. And easy on the ammo didn't want to burn through it in my Rattler.

Sure....ive got 2.  300blk on a rem 700 action in a MDT chassis.  Other is a 77/357.  Ill probably do a third in 22lr too just because.

This is the 300blk.  Feeds from 223 aics poly mags.
