Is $100 really the going price for these things?
 I was thinking of getting one of these since I don't have a large caliber rifle suitable for longer range shooting(only calibers larger than 5.56 are in lever guns) but nearly fell out of my chair when I saw the price of the mags at a couple sources. I might have to rethink my choices and go with an internal mag model.

They switched to the AICS a few years ago. Anything you buy new these days should be fine.

My 110 tactical, (6.5cm) is a tack driver. Best five round group so far is 1.5" @300yds on 3" steel gongs wit a simple 4-16x44 Bushnell LR 600 scope. The mag is aics.
