Looks like a solid factory build, personally I would prefer a 6.5CM... you'd be surprised by the much better ballistics.
Given that I don't know the parameters of your choice.. IE range.. handiness.. etc.. I will just ramble out some thoughts.
I am completely sold on the 6.5CM and have fired it out to 1300yds and the mile... 1300yds was easy enough to make consistent hits.. 1 mile was iffy at best. I don't know if I would be as confident with a .308 at those ranges.
1200yd shots are far easier then you'd think with the 6.5CM cartridge.. far less drift and drop then the .308 at longer ranges. In lay-mans terms... more consistent bullet flight in the wind.
If you want the 20" barrel feature then .308 would be the choice... however even with the 20" .308 that is going to be a heavy rifle. 11+ lbs, with out a scope adding even more weight.
At that point I'd ( again personally ) rather have the improved ballistics of the 6.5CM , and take advantage of the rifles full potential. And keep the .308 you already own.
If I was looking for a precision factory long range bolt action, your choice would be right up there at the top of the list.
Just my 2 cents.
