After the Vox-k info was published at sub 10oz, it spurred me to look at a keymo adaptor - almost 5oz!
So that go me thinking, could @mageever realistically have a 9oz Sandman k with omega threads?
And that would also lead me to believe it could be 4.x”

Thoughts?

I could have sworn a while back there was talk about a direct thread adapter for the Sandman line.  I wonder if maybe it's time for them to revisit that idea again?  It seemed you would remove the ring at the back, the detent plate and spring, then thread on a new ring that had either 5/8x24 or 1/2x28 threads cut in the center of it.

@mageever?????

The Keymo adapter sits at 4.5 oz.  That's 0.8 oz. heavier than an ASR.  I do hope to get some lightweight projects this year, so keep your fingers crossed.
