Cheaper housing kits and cheaper IR lasers.

No reason for the cost of some of these items. More competition!

A decent bino housing with no glass should not be over $1000.

More rifle IR LAM modules. Steiner and BE Meyers are pushing pretty good. L3/Insight REALLY needs to come out with something better than the ATPIAL-C.

Oh yes. Cheaper LAM as well!

(I'm currently LAM shopping again- the unit I got was defective) ETA I should add it did not come from a distributor

Fusion devices: Goggles, Scopes but at realistic prices.

A reasonably priced NV Clip-On that is not a boat anchor that works with day scopes in the 1-8 X range that incorporates or allows it to be used with flip to the side mount like Wilcox offers.
or a
A D/N scope like the old Litton PVS-10, but obviously in a much smaller package. Variable would be great but if fixed 6X max.

A PVS-14 that can be mounted in front of a day optic without having to resort to hanging all those extra lenses in front like the Torrey Pines.

You asked

Gain control on more housings. It has a place & I miss it on my binos. Smaller form factor LAM's, moar powah. Surefire V series with no less than 600 lum on the vis side, better, smaller, smarter form factor dual button tape switches. Glass that gives more FOV. More "affordable" COTIs

Exactly. That’s literally for metal tubes with fairly simple electronics.

If it was that price with glass, it would make much more sense.

I know we have an extremely niche hobby (or profession for some) but think about what you can buy for $1000. Once you add the glass, you’re looking at 2k.

Flir to unfuck the pts series.   The 6x 736 is bizarre.  The 536 barely fits the parameters of a everyday hunting scope at 4x, which seems closer to 5.  60hz is gay.

1. The LAM that TNVC has been teasing at being affordable, and it'd be really nice if it had better performance than the A3 and Atpial C.

2. A lightweight and shorter PVS 14 objective lens option to pair nicely with the Dep Ether eyepieces. It would make a really nice compact package out of lots of bino options.

3. I want a REAP IR, and I think I want one with an automatic shutter. That's something that's holding me back, maybe it's not as big a deal as I think.

4. An out of band LAM for use with Intens tubes.

5. A cost effective or at least just civilian obtainable UTM-X style thermal.

6. A PVS 14 or only slightly longer sized i2 clip on with mil spec acceptable POI shift, a 50 or 60mm objective lens,  that costs around 5K. And has a really good tube.

7. A 640 x 480 breach that has a better helmet mounting rail or just a dovetail on it, and has the bugs worked out. Or maybe just skeet ir's for everyone.

8. A cable that runs from my MAWL to my Surefire DF that allows me to control both with the buttons on the MAWL when in Vis mode.

9. A more affordable E COTI option.

10. And since JRH asked this question. A Double A version of the triple A UL binos, that has a removable battery pod like the Triple A version does... With AUTO gain. I bought DTNVGs this year, but I would have bought this instead if it existed.

Also, I'd love to win the lottery so I can buy all this shit in one order....

A Ir laser/Illuminator that runs on AA ideally make it dual fuel so it can run on cr123a and AA

A new version of the TAPS pro  switch that is completely modular ie can swap plugs for streamlight Steiner Y cable ect.

Streamlight to come out with a V series for there railmount lights

Streamlight to come out with the equivalent of a DS00 switch

Affordable fusion goggles/monocular

I want a SF Vampire (600 series) that has a brighter head. IR that can reach 400-500 and a white light that illuminates equally well. Focusable would be nice.

Running a carbine with just that light and a red dot sight would be awesome and simple and on some rifles you could totally skip the lasers.

Make the bezel have three detents for focus and have the rear battery cap twist for high or low power, that would be awesome

Things I'd like to see get debuted would be IR lights that you can focus the beam on. Other inline options like the cqbl-1 with just an IR or laser or IR/Green.

Things I wanna check out would be mtek helmets, newer flir thermals, rnvg and mini bnvd. Maybe see those ether lenses.

Thanks, good to know. Right now I’m watching these new BAE core NVISION models to see some reviews on them. Early reports are they have a better image due to the lens material. But who really knows yet. They are polymer as well, but also small. It will be interesting to see the comparisons. I think I may rent a reap this year and see what I think.

My Reap on 60 and pts536 swill batteries.  The 536 is a pain in the ass to hunt with without a battery back.   At least with the Reap you can switch to 30.

kind of like dreaming a price drop on the MAWL...  how about cheap fusion between super digital night vision and thermal?
