I want another Benelli for HD and in the interest of keeping things simple (and having spare parts should shtf), I thought I'd get a SBE2 and cut the barrel to 18" for home defense. Actually found one online already cut down for $900. Is this a dumb idea? What am I losing compared to spending the money on a M2 or M4? I'd say you made a good choice.
You're familiar with the platform, they are reliable. I'd put a sling, a light, and an esstac shotgun card on the buttstock and the receiver. Make sure the 3 round plug is out and you're set. |
