They told me it will handle full power 45-70 loads, so I’m sure it will. I like mine, but haven’t gotten a Henry X yet to try out the rating.

Yes! The minimum barrel length for 44 mag is 16". You are good to go.

Yes, I was very surprised how quite it is on my Ruger American in .450 Bushmaster!
