I have an R92 that my wife and I love to shoot. It only has about 300 rounds through it and has mostly been a safe queen.
We recently bought a new safe and when removing the Rossi from the old cabinet and taking it out of its soft case, the sight
feel out of the case onto the floor. It had never been dropped or bumped and their were no marks on it. The way the sight
failed the metal looks very porous on the edges. the front area is still in the dovetail. I called Rossi in Florida and they said
they wouldn't replace the part because we have owned the rifle two years.. This is a manufacturer defect and am surprised
they wont stand by their product. Hoping they have an email address so I could express this concern in more detail with someone
at the company who would be willing to help. Thanks all!

Go to Rossi USA website. They have a chat function. They never asked how long I'd had it, just sent the missing screw.

Sounds like a great reason to upgrade the rear sight to something better than the cheesy rear sight.  Or I will sell you mine since I drilled & tapped my gun for XS ghost ring sights.

I have a Rossi 92 that had to go back for warranty. It took forever.
It wasn’t because of the sight but when I got it back I replaced the sights anyway with marbles sights from brownells

Much better sights and sight picture

The rumor around the internet is that Rossi customer service is poor at best.

The problem I have with my Rossi M92 44mag is my buckhorn sight moves every time I fire the rifle.

There is not enough pressure on the ladder to keep it in place and I can't bend the sight due to it being a cast.

I filed sharper angles on my ladder but I don't think it will make a difference.

I have decided to purchase a better buckhorn from Stevesgunz.com. Stevesgunz makes and stocks many parts for the Rossi 92.

I am not going to waste my time with Rossi customer service and just purchase a replacement sight for $29.95 and call it good.

Good luck if you decide to go the Rossi CS route.
