I've just recently bought a new Rossi M92 45Colt with 20 inch barrel,
Advertised it holds 10+1 yet it will actually hold 11+1,
is there any issue if I load to 11 instead of the advertised 10?
(Already visited Steves Gunz and replaced the plastic magazine follower with a metal one)

Short answer, no. Also get the correct screw driver bits and pull the mag plug off. On the 24 inch barrel models they will have a plastic plug extension. I hacksawed mine off and fit a new mag spring so it holds 15-16 rounds now.

Does that work on the 16 inch barrels?  Just got one a week or so ago.
Any other mods that you would suggest?

I've already got the correct screwdrivers for working on firearms, thanks for the reminder.
When I removed the magazine end cap plug it was solid metal,
no plastic plugs on it approximately 3/8ths (guesstimate didn't measure it while it was out).

My Miroku built 92 Trapper in .45 Colt holds one or two more rounds in the tube than they advertise. I dont worry about it, an extra one or two rounds isnt going to make much difference to me in a saddle gun.

Id love to see how you fit 15-16 rounds 1.6 inch long into a 24 inch magazine.

My 16 inchers all hold 8mag rounds
8 x 1.6 is about 13 inches in a 16 inch magazine.

my 20 inchers all hold 10mag rounds
10 x 1.6 is 16 inches of ammo.

16 x 1.6 is 25.6 inches.  Tough to fit 25.6 inches of ammo into a 24 inch magazine.

My 20" Rossi holds 13+1 rds and my 24" Rossi holds 15+1 rds of .357mag loaded at 1.580" OAL after I shortened the mag spring IAW the slickup kit I got from Steve's Gunz. As I load my 45 Colt I run in my 2 Uberti leverguns at an OAL of 1.59", a Rossi with the shortened spring should hold the same number of them too.
