Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Roller Delay (MP5) more recoil suppressed than not

Decided to do some unsuppressed shooting yesterday with my MP5 - to my surprise, it felt like less recoil than when I put my wolfman on.  

With other hosts Ive noticed recoil is usually reduced when shooting suppressed.  

Anyone have similar experience?

Full size 100 degree lp with 147 pill doing 980 fps or so

Are the other hosts you’re comparing against blowback?  Running suppressed should give more felt recoil on a blowback gun.

I usually get more felt recoil with a suppressor installed on any self loading firearm. Exception being if it’s tuned to run suppressed. My AP-5 definitely has more recoil and bolt velocity suppressed for instance.
