I'm trying to figure out what height rings I need to clear the bolt handle. I'm looking at Talley rings and the medium says .4" height and .5" for high but looks like I might need more like .75" to clear but that just manually holding the scope over the receiver. Scope is a Vortex 2-8 x 32 so shouldn't be any issue with the scope itself. Any chance the mediums will work or definitely high or even higher?

Also, is there a Warne that is the same as these with the vertical split? I can find verticle ones but not for an 11mm dovetail.

I just installed the Talley low rings on my 455, and they are very low.  My scope is a Leupold VX Freedom 3-9x EFR, which has a fairly small ocular.  I went with this combo specifically because I don't like high mounted scopes with traditional stocks.

My scope measures about 1-3/8" at the eyepiece.

Yeah, my scope is a bit bigger. About 1 3/4" at the focus ring. I'm thinking the lows won't work and I can't find any medium. I found these (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DB82GSC/) on Amazon with free return so guess I'll give those a try. Not sure they are the ones you linked or not, but I'm guessing any 11mm rings will work.

I got the high rings from Amazon and installed them last night. Bolt clears but it's close. Not sure lower rings would have worked. On the plus side, the scope might also clear the sights on the 17 HMR barrel that I also have but haven't tried yet.

FWIW, the Talley vertical rings are pretty nice and easy to install. Very streamlined.
