Hey guys, got a smoking deal on a Norinco m14 with USGI bolt conversion in a sage EBR stock. Wanting to go back to a traditional USGI wood stock, what all is involved in removing the EBR stock besides the stock itself? I read something about an op rod block?

There’s a few good videos on YouTube showing the installation of the Sage EBR, that’ll give you an idea of the removal process.

One of the main parts is the op rod guide.

Yes, the op rod guide will need to be swapped back to a standard one, and you'll need to put a stock ferrule back on (since normally that gets replaced with a washer).
