Does anyone here have information on how to determine when a Marlin made by Remington was produced?  I've got a 336Y with serial number MR87xxxH.  It's one of the later production guns, after Remington got their shit together.

That is a serial number is sometime from 2013. The letter before the H month.
The month letter,

B = Jan
L = Feb
A = Mar
C = Apr
K = May
P = Jun
O = Jul
W = Aug
D = Sep
E = Oct
R = Nov
X = Dec

The year letter,

E = 2010, F = 2011, G = 2012, H = 2013, I = 2014, J = 2015, K = 2016, L = 2017, M = 2018, N = 2019, O = 2020...
