Anyone know of an oversized charging handle and oversized bolt release that will work with the Remington V3 Tac-13.

Apparently my google-fu is weak, I am not finding anything.

After a closer look, the ones for the 1100/11-87 don't have a the small rectangular area on the bottom of the bolt handle.

Further investigation is needed.

Hoping someone makes an HK-style folding charging handle for the TAC-13.

That OEM charging handle "nub" can be a tough little SOB to charge with room for only one finger, especially if I'm not operating operationally running my tactical operator gloves.

I can confirm that the 1100/1187 charging handle does NOT work on the V3. I took the charging handle out of my 11-87 and put it into the slot of the V3... it fits, but it doesn’t lock in. The V3 charging handle has a small rectangular boss that hold it in the action. The 11-87 handle is smooth, so it just pulls right out. After messing with mine for the better part of 4-hours yesterday, I agree, the stock charging handle sucks.

Well, shit!

I went ahead and ordered the cheap Choate version to try, SATURDAY!

Seems like another email to Nordic--GG&G--Briley are on the agenda today.

I tried the Choate charging handle. Doesn't work.
I tried modifying an adapter for a brace. Didn't work.
I sold the V3 Tac-13 in 3 minutes on GB. LOL
I will buy another when those items can be bought.
Oh well. I'll stick with my 13" Tac-14.
Now I think I'll attempt to modify the carrier to shoot the mini-shells.

Side Fold Arm Brace has arrived.

https://suarezinternational.com/suarez-tac-13-v3-folding-arm-brace-system-for-12-gauge/

They have an RMR mount and sounds like they are going to be working on other tactical bits for this platform.

Do we know if the min 26” OAL needed to avoid AOW is measured with brace extended?  If not, Looks like that would be under 26” folded, doesn’t it?

From everything ive read, braces are measured and OAL calculated at their deployed length.

Meh....

I steer clear of any item associated with Suarez.

Also, looking at the pics on Suarez site, I think the design could be tweeked just a bit. Also looks like they used a Magpul AK grip, which is not really a bad thing, just looks like the design could be tightened up a bit.

As far as the folding mechanism, I am not a fan of that design at all.

Their RMR sight base is too tall, IMHO.

Agreed... it's a new platform for enthusiasts who are interested in it for non-hunting purposes, so it just takes some time for the "tactical" products to start appearing.  Patience...
