Dropped by my LGS and inquired if he had any instock or on the way. He didn't, but his distributor had called him this morning letting him know they had them in inventory, my dealer told him he would get back with him later today.
Well, I told my dealer to call him back and get one coming for me, please. Went ahead and paid for it, should be here sometime next week. Price was $780otd, I think that it is fine. |

Sounds like a fair price, look forward to your review. Received tracking number but no movement yet, looks like it's going to be post Holiday before it moves.

Folks who have them already: Can you remove that clamp that the front rails attach to? Or is it a functional part of the barrel / magazine tube assembly?
Also I'm sure someone somewhere at some point will start making aftermarket furniture and braces for these, but as of right now the only options for different handguards or stocks (if you go SBS) are Remington, correct? |

Quoted: Legally, yes. Right now, no. Currently there are no "tube" attachment systems that fit the Versa Max/V3 receiver. Before anyone asks, yes, I already tried two 870 adapters today. I have also already sent Mesa tactical an email stating they might want to get busy on making both the LEO and High tube adapters for the Versa Max/V3 receivers. As you can tell, mine showed up today. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/77315/20181113_165810_resized-737997.jpg https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/77315/20181113_165758_resized-737996.jpg View Quote |

Quoted: So the V3 is compatible with Versa Max furniture? I'm not up on my Remington shotguns, and I don't see anything on Mesa Tac's website that explicitly says "V3", just Versa Max stuff. View Quote |

Goddamnit. I swore off Remington after the whole R51 shit show.
But I might buy one of these if I can find one for $500. |
