Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Remington M1934 Stock on a M1917?

Hey all,

I recently acquired a Winchester M1917 with a cut down stock and am in the process of trying to remilitarize the rifle. Unfortunately, finding military-style M1917 stocks is a complete pain in the ass now-a-days, but I did notice that SARCO has Remington M1934 stocks available. I know the M1934 was basically a M1917 recalibered to 7mm Mauser with different sights, so I was wondering: are the stocks interchangeable?

Get on the CMP forums.  M1917 stocks are for sale all the time over there.
