For an SBR, it has to be done before you cross state lines.

If you're moving out of state, it is legally required you notify them in advance for the SBR. The Suppressor is not legally required, but they still request you do it.
You fill out the form 5320.20 and mail/email/fax it in. You need to get the approved form returned to you before you take the SBR across state lines. |
