Not sharp enough to cut with very well but the points are certainly stabby enough. I have two of the spikes with triangular blades and a full size tanto. The spikes are nice as they can ride in a sock, on a necklace, under a belt in the small of the back, even in a boot. The lack of truly sharp edges allows multiple options for carrying them that won't leave you bleeding.

I like these. They're G-10 rather than plastic, but I like them better than the plastic Cold Steel knives I've used.

Make sure you wand it yourself. Some of them have metal powder so they'll still set off a detector.

Good thread. I've ran into the same situation several times of late. Seems silly that they won't even let you carry a pocket folder. Gonna check out the G10 knives to see if they work.

I used to buy the Choate Tool letter openers by the box. If they’re doing pat downs you just chuck it in a garbage can...

Use these ceramics a lot. Very sharp. But very brittle too, and tips like to break off.
