Picked up a Rearden FH mount (three prong) - it’s what I wanted - light, compact and well machined. But, I’m not sure of the FH efficacy because it has a .375 bore, and I didn’t realize how big that is till I got it. My other 5.56 mounts and FHs are pretty tight to the bore diameter. Did I get a flame thrower?

I mean it’s probably not great.

Not because of the bore size but because how short those prongs are.

Well, there’s no free lunch. That’s probably why the tines on the Surefire mounts are nine miles long.

Oh well, I prefer light and short.
