Hey all,

I’ve read from other sources and posts that the RNVG cannot take the regular Lemo-type Port, as it requires longer prongs.

Here’s my situation. I have a friend who is offering me an amazing deal on a PVS-31a type battery pack.
When we tested the battery to make sure it worked though something happened. With and without a 123 battery inserted, the RNVG wouldn’t turn on when the battery pack was plugged in.

I wouldn’t think the RNVG would automatically switch between internal and external power.

Does anyone have any suggestions for remote power? Would buying an adaptor for a BNVD work for the RNVG?

Or would I be specifically relegated to soldering or buying an AB LPRB?

Anyone with ideas on why my RNVG wouldn’t turn on because the remote battery pack was plugged in?

Even when a 123 battery was inside the goggle it wouldn’t turn on when the pack was plugged in.
