I’ve checked the usual websites, but I’m trying to get an honest opinion of what a reasonable price for the market would be for a steel RDIAS? I was thinking around 35K, but another opinion is always worth considering.

You could have bought 300 of them for that much money back in 1986.

There are some selling on subguns in the $35k range. Most recent $35k sale was just this week.

ETA and another one still listed for that price right now. Market seems a bit soft with M16s listing around $20k, and not being snapped up.

I saw a couple aluminum ones for $35K. I guess I'll se if the steel DIAS still carry a premium.

Are you buying or selling?

Selling? you should be able to get at least $35k

Buying? Anything under $35k is a good deal.

Unless you have a specific need for a RDIAS, ie you want to use on a custom lower so you can shoot pistol calibers, 308, etc...you might want to look into a RR, a non-colt RR can be had for under $20k. The difference can buy you a second MG

I got it when I was single and had funds to spare. Now I have a wife in medical school, three kids and a string of bad luck resulting in bills. Plus I may not be getting paid for a while.

There is a steel Broadhead RDIAS here on the EE for $40K.

Very understandable, and respectable choice of financial obligations
