Went to prime for the first time tonight. My question is...when pulling the lever, you hit a "wall" towards the end of the pull. I assume this is when the primer is seated? Are you supposed to continue pulling after this? Are you supposed to pull it all the way in? The manual only talks about "feel" and .003-.005".

Any and all priming is done by "feel".
You feel the primer seating. What you are calling the wall.
I can feel it with hand primers, bench primers, my Rockchucker, and on my Dillon's, but I've been seating primers since the late 70's..
When you think primer is seated, look at the primer and it should be .002 to .003 below flush.
So you need to teach yourself the "muscle memory" of a properly seated primer. This comes with practice.
If primer is high, reinsert primer and seat it deeper.
So seat a primer, look at it to know if it's seated correctly.
If you keep cranking on the handle after primer is seated, the primer cup gets smashed flat. Set these aside as practice rounds.
Also priming tools can be broken with too much pressure.
Good luck.
