Looking for the quietest 22lr round for rabbits, preferably semi-auto capable but not required.

What say you all??

I use these to knock Squirrels out of our fruit trees.

While they're pretty quiet, they render my gun a "bolt action".

Get a .22 silencer the wait times are getting very short and you should have all the quiet you can get.

The rodents can’t tell with the silencer on.

Try CCI Quiet semi-auto, probably still on sale at PSAlmost as good.

Those will go almost all the way through a 2x4, so more than plenty for rabbits.  Nice and quiet.

Probably won't function in a semi auto (unless you have one of the old Browning take down semi autos made for .22 shorts) but my folks preferred .22 shorts for squirrels/rabbits.  Head shots with a good shooting .22 got the job done.

A decent pellet gun will kill a rabbit.  They are really fragile critters.

I don't believe that is always the case says a guy who is 13 1/2 months into having the BATFE cash the check for a .22 silencer transfer.

MHO, YMMV, etc.  Be well.

CCI Quiet is probably your most readily available option. You can order direct from CCI’s website and they almost always have them in stock. They will not cycle a semi-auto but most of the “quiet stuff” is not going to, especially if not suppressed.

I just received some of that, just for any rodents I see in the yard.

I'm totally used to manual cycling. It only takes a single shot anyway.
I installed a charger with comfortable fat round ambidextrous handles to make it really easy.

Aguila Super Colibri.  Won't work in a Semi Auto though.

Aguila 60 grain sub sonic is pretty quiet and it cycles my 10/22 without a problem.
