Quick review on my new NOE 356-135FR

Been looking for a new 9mm mold, and this one fits the bill perfectly.

I am very happy with this mold.

I am firmly entrenched in powder coating, so the lack of a lube groove is a plus.

plus, they drop out with ease.

they drop at 133grs with 6Sb/2Sn/92Pb. Sized to .356 with the LEE die

I worked up a load with Alliant SPORT PISTOL powder on my trusty Dillon 650

I always cast and coat in the cold dry winter air, this is the first time I've powdercoated in the humid spring WX, and it shows, Smokes Carolina Blue doesn't look as smooth as usual. they still shot very well.

Looks like the bullet was specifically designed to be powder coated,  accommodating the extra .002" of thickness.  Great design.

Thanks for the review. Like you, I was in the market for a new 9mm mold and this looked like it fit the bill perfectly. Mine will be delivered tomorrow!

Dang this is tempting. If I had a 38 mould already I’d be ordering!
