Looking at buying a threaded Glock barrel. Any advice on hood brands or ones to avoid?

I've bought 3 Lone Wolf barrels in the past and they are very good, accurate and trouble free.

My first was a KKM, my two recent ones have been LW.

Storm Lake is a solid choice.

Seems like nothing's changed since the old days; KKM, Lone Wolf, and Storm Lake. Glock factory are available, but they carry a significant price premium. Was wondering if it as worth it for a factory barrel; looks like not.
Thank you, all! |

I normally stick with factory Glock but I'm kinda OCD that way, however I can say I've had nothing but good luck with Storm Lake for the few that I have.

I suggest you also seriously consider a SilencerCo barrel. I have 2 (one for a G17 and the other for a 226) and both have been great.

Can't remember brand but got it from AIMS.
No malfunction and accuracy is good. G19 think I paid like 89 bucks |

KKM
Faxon Killer Innovations Agency Arms I own and recommend all the above. Better than OEM Glock. |

I just bought a G21 Glock barrel for $155 from glocks website. Does someone make a less expensive alternative? I honestly didn't even look.

I got a silencerco barrel. Seems just fine. Only complaint is that it has some sharp edges. Not burrs, just very clean square cuts. Installing the recoil spring likes to take some of my fingernail with it.

Nut coal is best coal. Now available in 87lb bags.

Have storm Lake in th 19 & 17.
SilencerCo on order for the 21 and a KKM I think on its way in 10mm for the 21 swap. Wouldn't have mattered if I wasn't running suppressed I'd buy aftermarket barrels anyways to run lead. It took a bit over 5 hrs to find the 45 and 10mm barrels in stock on Friday when i ordered them. Good luck with the purchase. |
