Always been a fan of the MP5 so I finally decided to take the plunge and picked one up from Kelly Enterprises in Key West.. After some comparison, I chose to go with the PTR 9CT, so here are a few pics of it alone and with its family. Package came with the pistol (low serial number), nice fitted hard case, two mags, bungee sling, adjustment tool, and Chuck threw in a classic wide front grip. I took off the M-Lok grip that the gun came with since I like the classic look, but I'm keeping it and putting a laser on it. I have already changed out the endcap for a brace and replaced the rear pin with an eyelet type for the sling to attach to. I also installed the Sig Sauer Romeo 5 red dot using the higher riser.

Sweet, looks like they lengthened the top rail too.
Original pics from shot had a shorter top rail. |

PTR worked on the PTR 9CT series for 2 years before releasing them for sale. They have paid attention to details and done a very nice job. We have torture tested a few of these in a full auto and they ran like a champ . The ejection pattern was one of the best we have seen with a roller lock.

Yes due to feedback from clients and a Law Enforcement sale PTR added a longer rail on their production models. No short rail models were sent out for retail sale that we are aware of . Below is a pic of the current Long rail shipping on PTR 9 series pistols .
