Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Peltor Comtac III - Will they fix issued units? (clarity and volume issue)

Hi guys,

Have a set of Comtac III's that I suspect are not working at 100%. My Comtac II's are clearer and much louder than my III's....

I bought my Comtac III set secondhand and suspect it was an issued unit - don't know this for sure, but don't want to risk sending it in and losing $400.

Anyone have any experience on this? Would appreciate any comments. Thanks

Not sure on Peltor themselves.

If it’s something you can diagnose, SRS tactical sells Peltor parts ive used to fix my comtac 3s.

A back up option I suppose.
