Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Palmetto 1849 Pocket and Uberti or Pietta compatiblity

This is a long shot...but I just picked up an 1849 pocket made in Italy for Palmetto.
Palmetto doesn't exist any more, but does anyone know if uberti or pietta cylinders are compatible with Palmetto? It says made in Italy on it.

I always like to carry extra cylinders preloaded when I shoot it, so any help is invaluable.

I'm not sure but my recommendation is to look at the proof marks then google various manufacturers markings to see what matches up.

OK I'll try, but I thought multiple manufacturers could use a proof house? Or maybe that's just in Germany.
