I have some  M2, M8 and M20 rounds that came unpainted and thus indistinguishable from my M33 rounds. What type of paints are acceptable for marking these?  I was considering using Testors paint markers

because I have them on hand. Other than being slightly tedious, is there any reason I shouldn't? Any better/easier options?  I have several hundred rounds that need to be painted, so it would be nice if there was a fast option.

To do it right you'll want proper colored solvent enamel.

Don't brush - dip and leave the rounds inverted for a few seconds to allow any drips. Then you stand them upright and wait for them to dry.

Thanks for the replies. I'll give this a shot soon, just trying to source some decent paint in the necessary colors

Sherwin-Williams is your friend in this instance. You want a direct to metal solvent based enamel such as their industrial alkyd.
