[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Ordered a new knife today!

Busse War Train Fusion battle grade. I've been wanting this blade for quite some time. Now the hard part, the waiting game. Site says anywhere from 6-32 weeks. I'm keeping my fingers crossed its closer to the shorter end of the spectrum. I actually plan on using this knife so I'll have to find a kydex maker to make something for me.

The 2 posts above are correct. I have kydex for Busse knives from both and they are top notch. Sheaths from both makers have been put through the ringer, the knives they hold are in my more common users.

Thanks for the sheath suggestions. There's so many companies out there it's a bit overwhelming. I do want a piggyback style sheath so I can carry a smaller blade and a couple other smaller items.

Both the above makers will do that. True custom shops. Brown is probably the most "custom" of the 2.....he can do everything from basic black to one off laser cut designs. He's a major player over on the Busse part of bladforums. He's got a standing order for an example of "every knife they make."

Buy Brown makes some nice sheaths, but check out Mashed Cat Sheaths too. I have a couple and they are really well made and they specialize in Busse Knives.

I'm also looking at black bear custom kydex. Lots of good options out there.
