Regarding Nightforce...

I see that the ATACR has a 34mm tube, but what else makes it $1k better than the NX8?

I was originally considering the Leupold MK8, but this was poo-poo’d in GD.

Any other recommendations?

I just put a 1.5-6x elcan on my apc and love it. Eurooptic is running a deal on them for $2k right now

Better eye-box and reticle. I'd go with ATACR over NX8 or MK8.
