So if you have ever handled this wonderful bundle of joy, you may have noticed the WAAAAY oversized handle scales. And they are slippery as hell.
God gave me little dick beaters because I only have a little dick to beat. So this handle has always been less than safe for me.
I am considering cutting the rivets and installing a new micarta type set of scales.
Where would a guy get new rivets and scale blanks?

I recently looked for rivets and even contacted a rivet company who said the could make custom rivets.
But they were no help. I pondered  the thought of making them on the CNC milling machine at work.
But just kinda lost interest. If you can find someone who runs a lathe. They can be made very easily.
I’ve got one guy that may be able to help me but he is new on the job. And may not have time to do
Non business related work. Keep us/me posted. And I’ll buy a few if we need to order them n bulk.

I'm just thinking of removing the handle scales. Copying them in micarta. And either applying them exactly how ESEE does with hardware, or going the traditional way with epoxy and pins.

Not on that model of ‘shet but I drilled rivets, turned down some brass rod , pushed it in.  I then smashed (sweaged) each side with a punch.
