KAC Sr15 Mod 2 complete 14.5. KAC 556QDC suppressor, Reptilla grip, Surefire M640V, Eotech Vudu 1-8 in a Badger 1.70 mount, Wilcox Raid-X or an NGAL. Ditch the flip ups because you don't need 3 sighting systems

ACC with an 3.5 ACOG and Comp M5 .45 degree mount

CQB with a red dot / Cloud Rein and Sandman S.
Everything else is slower and heavier in my 200m world.

@Tejas1836 were those rails direct fit or did you have to modify? Looks so good

Rail covers fit MLok with a wedge type plastic insert, no mod needed. Best covers I have used ergonomically and for heat mitigation.

This. Unfortunately, I prematurely sold the upper half and I haven't been able to replace it yet, but this is pretty much the ideal configuration (with suppressor and bipod) for me. I'd add IR capability as well.

I got double whammied when i built this thing… KAC leaked the KS series shortly after it was complete AND the AFT is doing what it is doing with pistol braces.

Everything I did with this gun was with the intention for it to be my ultimate “go-to” AR, with the best parts I could source (my own opinion and personal preference). Haven’t shot it yet because the scope came in 2 days before I left for Fort Polk, Louisiana. This rifle is essentially now a bastard KS-2 lol.

-SBA3 until i pin and weld the FH. After that, trying to decide between the Magpul CTR and SOPMOD Bravo… I have both on other rifles.
-Carbine buffer tube with standard spring and KAC HH buffer
-Magpul K2 grip with the steeper angle
-Colt Ambi safety with the short lever on right side
-Geissele SSA held together with KNS precision pins… never have to worry about the pins walking or rotating. Probably unlikely, but nice peace of mind on a “hard use” gun
-KAC 14.5” Mod 2 upper with E3.2
-NightForce NX8 1-8x FC-DMx with capped elevation mounted in a Reptilia AUS
-Arisaka 18650 in Arisaka Mount with One Hundred Concepts light cap and ModButton

-QD attachment point all the way out front and I run Blue Force Gear Vickers slings.

Editing out the buffer tube region for future search/archive reasons but it currently has that brace as mentioned.
