I have access to a bunch of old pistol powders.  I havent taken inventory but most are 1/3 full in orig containers.
Age would prob be 20-25 years and shotgun powder 35 years old.

Stored in a dank basement but sealed lids afaik.

Primers too, but Im afraid the cardboard containers were not airtight, no tarnishing visible though.

I was planning to load just a handfull of rounds to see if they still go bang, but was hoping to know what to perhaps expect.

Eta, thanks.

If the powder does not have red coloring or red dust it is most likely gto. I I have loaded and shot powder that was discontinued in the 40s DuPont #5' primers that were in wooden trays as well.

I have used all sorts of ancient powder/primers over the years, just check for deterioration and test small lots.
