Hey you can run any litton or L-3 tube that has a permanently fixed pigtail as a 10160 if the cable ever gets ripped or severed from the power supply. Well all except the ones that L-3 potted with power supplies that they purchased from iTT. these tubes will have L-3 identifier markings and data, but are l-3 modules that L-3 potted in the ITT pinnacle type power supply bodies and top caps. Basically it will look exactly like an omni 6, 7 or 8 ITT Pinnacle tube but will have an l-3 data label on the output end of the tube assembly. These are a no go without a pigtail just like the Itt pinnacles. But if the tube is a litton or L-3 with a doughnut type power supply that has rwo adjustable trim pots on the rear of the tube and doesnt jave any trim pots on the pcb end of the cable then it isnt an issue to run the tube without a pigtail. And yes the newer L-3 Autogated programmable type PSU's that do not have user adjustable trim pots on the rear of the power supply, but only two little holes to the left of the positive contact where the namo plugs on the pigtail plug into, can also be run safely as a 10160 with the tail unplugged and removed.
