I was offered a Newcon Optik ANVS3203 bino in trade for an upper. I am having a hard time finding any information on this unit online. Has anyone heard of it before and/or know anything about it?

Don't know that model, I do have one of their PVS 7 style optics. Works well, shitty proprietary mounting system.

There's a company ANVS INC that I suppose those goggles are from. Didn't see your number listed, but they seem to give new names to other companies products, so could be they are originally Newcon Optik binos but which, no way to tell.

They look pretty large, like almost the size of hunting binos.

Looks like some older Dipol (Belarussan company) binocular and pretty sure they are Gen1. Could be the objective lenses are rather fast, so it could still be "worth something" and useful. Most Gen1 systems are rather bad, but some are usable.

Newcon Optik (like many others) buys stuff from Dipol.

Thanks for the info. I passed on these. They were described as Gen 2+/Gen 3, but I agree they do look like older tech Gen 1.
