Hey all, I’ve been in the industry a while and always wanted an FAL, so when a buddy told me he wanted to get rid of his I jumped on it.
He didn’t know the origin and neither do I, so I was hoping to get some input from the guys who know all about them! How did I do? Pics: https://imgur.com/gallery/lWaDQk5 |

Awesome, thank you! I’m excited to get into the world of FAL.
Would you have any magazine recommendations? I’m not 100% sure how to tell if it’s metric or inch... |

It is metric.
That is a nice looking rifle. |

It's metric.
I'd get original military mags if you can find them in good condition. Not sure about current mag availability or reproductions. |

nice FAL!
Should be able to find some metric mags in the EE if you watch it. I recently ordered some surplus mags from DSA. Just keep an eye out |

There're quite a few metric mags for sale on the FALfiles right now.
By the way, very nice rifle. |

I just registered for the forums, thank you for the heads up! And thanks!

Recommend you get yourself a DSA semi safety selector. It has a stop that will prevent the selector from going past semi.
That is a nice rifle. Did you score some ammo? |

Gorgeous kit, too bad it's on a Type 3 receiver. Enjoy it!

That’s a VERY nice score. And the Imbel receivers are some of the best available. Enjoy!
