I know it's old tech but I've always wanted an Osprey to use with certain hosts for the better sight picture. I have a TiRant .45 but it always seemed to have more poi shift than I liked so I bought I .45 3lug mount for it and converted it to that for my open bolt smg. Anyways this thing is great. I've shot it with my 1911 and my 92x. The can is pretty much flush on the 92x when aiming down the sights. If there was shift it was minimal. I honestly don't mind the frp as a tradeoff.
I'm getting a octane .45 as my BOGO can. I intend to use that for cast lead and plan to test .44 mag through it. I don't expect them to warranty it but I would like to use it on my .44 mag cva rifle with magnum loads. If it blows up or cracks I will not be to upset.   |

 still one of the best looking silencers. Totally agree, USP+Osprey is the combo to beat for looks. I have a 40sw full size and a 45K. Love them both. |

Many moons ago I had the opportunity to buy an Osprey 9 and an Osprey 45 at dealer price. I already had a Gemtech SOS45 and at the time could only afford one of the cans, so I (foolishly) went with the Osprey 9. Awesome can, but I should have gotten the 45.
