Im very excited to get them in my hands and put them to good use. View Quote Dang, those specs are awesome. Curious though why you got away from the DTNVG to go to a non articulating housing? Was it more so about getting better tubes? |

View Quote I like the features of the DTNVG a lot, mainly that they turn off when you flip them up or rotate out the pods. Honestly I like them better than RNVGs, but I always feel like I have to be extra careful when using them and it takes some of the fun out of it. Now I’m sure they’re fairly durable, but for me and my tendency to break things the RNVGs are a better fit. Putting more money towards the tubes vs the housing had something to do with it as well. This will be my third set of RNVGs and those DTNVGs were my second set of those. My 1701 filmless tubes were high spec as well, but I really wanted tubes that were high spec and clean. |

I ordered a WP PVS-14 33 SNR 72 res 2376 FOM about 2 1/2 weeks ago from Benny at Kosher Surplus. I wanted duals from the beginning but ended up going with a mono. BIG MISTAKE. I am having a problem connecting the J-arm to my RHNO II mount (also purchased from TNVC, so I know its not some Chinese knockoff). I haven't messed with it too much but it seems like the J-arm doesn't go into the mount far enough to engage the spring loaded clip. eta: I'm almost positive that I have to remove some material (from the J-arm) to get it to work. |

The EBI is great. The SNR is minimum spec, but it should still work great. |
