NIB will bring a premium on Pre 64's, even on common guns.
Lots of fakes out there now too, so if you can prove the history that will help.

People will change a rifle to a rare variant, fake box and paperwork, and sell to unsuspecting buyers. They're on Gunbroker all the time. Sometimes the sellers legitimately think what they have is original rare/NIB guns, because they were swindled in the past.
That said, a 94 is a very common rifle, especially in 30/30, so the odds of someone taking the time to fake a NIB is much less than it would be for an oddball configuration.
