I have a pristine LNIB 1950 Winchester Model 94. Has the original box and packing material including the wood book ends. The bluing is 100%, no scratches. Even the side gate cover has no signs of being loaded. Just wondering what the value might be at auction?

Why auction?
Selling at traditional auctions aren’t the best idea usually because the house takes a chunky service fee afaik

Buying at auction? You might overpay lol for the same reason

Gunbroker can give an idea of ballparks but lever actions have gone through the roof

Man! I'd love to get that gun in my hand. I'd guess and say it's worth 2k...but who knows. It's worth what somebody will pay. I'd put it up on GunBroker before I'd do a private auction...

Any chance that you could post pictures of the gun and box?

Is it just a plain Winchester 94 or is it some kind of commemorative model?

Carbine?

Sold listings, although looks like some have been repeatedly relisted.

NIB will bring a premium on Pre 64's, even on common guns.

Lots of fakes out there now too, so if you can prove the history that will help.

NIB, but 32

This one is pretty much what you say you have.

Again, provenance will get you more money.  The amount of fake Winchesters out there now is sickening.  People will change a rifle to a rare variant, fake box and paperwork, and sell to unsuspecting buyers.  They're on Gunbroker all the time.  Sometimes the sellers legitimately think what they have is original rare/NIB guns, because they were swindled in the past.

That said, a 94 is a very common rifle, especially in 30/30, so the odds of someone taking the time to fake a NIB is much less than it would be for an oddball configuration.

This is very true.  I almost bought a Colt Revolver.  Dealer had good feedback, but his advertisement was very carefully worded and didn't say much about the pistol.  Arfcom saved me, it was a parts gun.  I made a low bid that was easily surpassed and some sucker overpaid for it.
