1916 Carl Gustaf M/96 Swedish Mauser in 6.5 Swede... The Swedish Mauser was a 1893 'cock on close' Mauser action, making for a fast cycling time. These rifles are very accurate, tho some attribute this to the flat shooting round. This one is stocked in Elm which is relatively rare. I actually prefer the 93 Mauser action for its speed and smoothness, but I acknowledge the improvements of the more famous and influential 98 Mauser action in regards to safety.

I've owned my m/94-14 carbine for years and love it. A very handy little carbine. I've never gotten around to getting me a m96 to add to my growing Swedish collection. I have a m/41b, Ljungman, Kg m/37 BAR, and a Swedish K so far.
