I have some old scissors that need sharpening. I have a Ken onion worksharp machine but not sure it that is appropriate for these. Any advice is appreciated.

I worked over some recently like your bottom pair. There were no knicks or visible imperfections on the edge. They were just. . . "tired". Italian made.
I free handed a Lansky fine grit stone. About 15-20 passes at the factory angle. Then a few passes with an ultra fine at a slightly sharper angle to "bevel" the edge. Then a couple passes on the opposite side with the fine to remove any imperfections (with the stone flat against the blades).
A slight tweak of the screw also to tighten the pressure, and they cut like new.
